Is your cottage four seasons?
Yes it is. You can book our cottage in any season and experience all the four seasons can offer.
Is the cottage Air Conditioned?
No. But we have smart ceiling fans in every room that keep the rooms cool tempreture.
Is there grocery shopping close by?
Yes. There are Foodland and No Frills in Bancroft, 17 minutes away from the cottage by car.
How do I deal with an emergency?
There is a hospital The Quinte Health North Hastings Hospital in Bancroft 17 minutes away from our cottage. There is a Shoppers Drug Mart and other pharmacies in Bancroft.
Is there a minimum booking period?
In high season, the minimum booking period is typically one week. In Spring, Winter and Fall, the minimum stay is two nights. The minimum booking over long weekends is three nights. Please contact us directly to discuss your needs.
Is the water drinkable?
We are on a well system and have reverse osmosis tab drinkable water in the kitchen, however, some people might not like the taste of it, so we suggest you bring drinking water with you. If you stay for a week you can fill up potable water in a jug at the township for free, 2 minute drive from the cottage.
